Highlight of the week!

First of all, I want to wish everyone a happy June!  

So I have gotten off yesterday's pedestal to bring you two amazing places to check out this week.  The first is L'ybane, right in the heart of Times Square on 8th Ave.  What I love about this wine bar is that it's very easily missed among the miscellaneous stores spotting the avenue- but don't be fooled just because it is off the radar and easily overlooked by 9th ave.

I have been going to and recommending L'ybane for quite some time now- it is hands down the best place to find hummus in the entire city, not to mention the wine is phenomenal.  If you get a chance, meet the owner; he's quite approachable and extremely friendly, normally overlooking all the tables to make sure everyone is having a good time.  I went there once to eat dinner and enjoyed that too.  But seriously, try the hummus.

The second highlight goes to The Park (no, not the one with the runners and the brown baggers).  The beauty of this nature-themed space is that they have so many options; with multiple bars, a dining area, a DJ + dance floor on the second tier, an outdoor patio (the best part in my opinion, the lighting and the trees are magnificent), you literally can do whatever you're in the mood for- rumor has it they even have a jacuzzi in the summer.  It is absolutely gorgeous, and I am kicking myself for having lost some pictures due to technical difficulties (read: I was playing around too much with Instagram).  All the more reason for you to go and check it out for yourself.  You won't be disappointed; mainly, because no matter what you're looking for, this eclectic venue has it all, including 2 for 1 cocktails Tuesday nights from 10-11pm.  Enjoy!
